Having just got back from four weeks in the USA visiting my daughter,
I think back to the last day there, sitting outside on a beautiful spring day,
Under the sun porch on the swing chair, thinking about the good time I spent with the family. Mentally saying goodbye to the place and preparing my mind for the homeward journey.
One day God willing, I will get to come back again.
My Christian faith reminds me, that reaching my senior years, is a bit like that....
'Waiting to go home', period.
Being thankful for the opportunity to still live and breathe on this beautiful planet.
